What UI/UX design involves

UI/UX design is the work of deciding how a website or app is organised (user experience) and how it looks (user interface), so that people find what they need and take the next step. Good UI/UX design reduces confusion before any code is written.

We work in four steps. First we research your business and ask for the sites you like and the competitors you want to compare against. Then we wireframe the pages, design the screens and build an interactive prototype you can click through. Most of this work is part of websites and apps we also build, in Next.js, WordPress, Webflow or Framer. The files are delivered through Figma.

What You Get

  • Research and references

We learn your business and review the websites you like and your competitors before designing.

  • Wireframes

Simple page layouts that agree the structure and content before visual design starts.

  • Screen designs

The full visual design of each page, in your brand.

  • Interactive prototype

A clickable version of the design so you can try the flow before it is built.

  • Editable Figma files

The design files with handoff notes for development.

  • Design to build

Because we build as well, the design is turned into a working website without a handoff gap.

Who It's For

  • Businesses planning a new website or web app
  • Teams that want to see and approve the design before development starts
  • Companies that want to compare their site against competitors
  • Founders who need a clear prototype for a product idea

How We Work

A simple, clear process from the first call to handover, with no surprises along the way.

  1. 1Day 1

    Intro call

We talk through your project, your goals and what you need, and agree what will be delivered.

  2. 21–2 days

    Detailed proposal

You get a written proposal with the scope, price, timeline and tech stack. We only move forward once we both agree.

  3. 31–2 days

    Access & setup

We tell you exactly what we need to start, such as a WordPress login, Git repository or API keys, over a call or by message. Then we set up the project.

  4. 4Agreed per project

    Build with weekly updates

After kickoff you get an update every week, and we reply to your messages within 24 hours. The length depends on the project and is agreed with you up front.

  5. 51 day to preview

    Review & free revision

We send you a link to check the finished website, and one round of revisions is included free.

  6. 62–3 days

    Final changes & handover

We finish the revisions and hand over your website along with any other project material.

UX design decides how a site is organised and how people move through it. UI design is the visual layer: layout, colour, typography and components. We do both.
We research your business and references, create wireframes, design the screens and build an interactive prototype. You review each step before we move on.
Yes. We ask which websites you like and which competitors you watch, and we use them to guide the design.
Most of our design work is part of projects we also build. If you only need design, tell us on the intro call and we will say whether it is a fit.
